This year, we are raising funds for our Annual Spring Egg Hunt.

This event means the world to us, because it truly gets us connected with just about every member of our surrounding community. From ASU students and their friends and family members to non ASU students and their friends and family members, we get to showcase a day full of fun and exciting events that engage and impact hundreds of attendees. Our goal is to grow the bonds within our communities by directly interacting with them. Along with doing this, we also mix in a promotion of cultural diversity, educational awareness and ASU pride/spirit. The hopes are that by doing all of this, kids and teens, no matter what age or ethnicity, will have a positive outlook on what it means to be a part of this great community. Additionally, we hope that students and their family members leave with good exposure to our university and all of the great possibilities that come with being a future SunDevil.

The money that we raise, up to our goal of $2000, will be exclusively used to fund our Egg Hunt. We would like to cover as much of the costs (park fees, equipment rental fees, security, entertainment, food, etc.) that we incur with this large scale event. We are a student based organization with limited money, but we don’t believe that this should be a determining factor that stops us from hosting a memorable event for the community that we hold dear to us.

Additionally, if we reach and surpass our goal, it is our incentive to use those excess funds to put directly into our Jeff Scott Marcinowski Scholarship, which is awarded to one incoming ASU male freshman and one incoming ASU female freshman who demonstrates outstanding leadership and community based values.

Our event will be hosted on March 19th, 2016. This event is right around the corner so, ideally, we would like to meet our goal within the first week of March.
